Every model of the EQE SUV Mercedes comes equipped with basic safety and driver assistance features, and these include lane-keeping assist, automated emergency braking, and similar other basic features. The entry-level trims aren’t studded with safety features, but you do get the option of adding them. On the other hand, the costlier trims come with much more advanced safety features such as lance-centering, adaptive cruise control, emergency steering assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic lane keeping, and much more. The NHTSA hasn’t yet reviewed this EV SUV for safety as yet. But, the EQE SUV did manage to get a 5-star rating in the Euro NCAP test.

7 The Electric SUV Offers Generous Cargo Space

To be quite honest, the cargo space offered in the EQE SUV is decent at best. First off, if the rear seats happen to be reclined, then you can get 14 cubic-feet of space and without the seats being reclined you can open up about 20.5 cubic-feet of space. These numbers are quite weak when you compare them to the space other EV SUVs currently offer, like Tesla Model Y or the BMW iX. But, if you were to put the rear seats completely down, then you can have up to a generous 55 cubic-feet of space. But without the rear seats down, there is limited space available. In addition to that, you can find a tiny storage space beneath the cargo floorboard.

Unveiled on the same day as the standard Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV, the AMG EQE SUV is the performance variant. This performance variant comes in two trims the AMG43 and the AMG53, while both of their AWDs come with two electric motors, the AMG43 manages to generate 476 horses and the AMG53 can whoop out a staggering 677 ponies. Additionally, this performance beast, the AMG53 requires only 3.2 seconds to accelerate from a standstill to 60 mph. Furthermore, the beast-like performance capabilities don’t take away anything from the EV SUVs’ driving range. The AMG EQE SUV can go nearly 300 miles on every charge, which is quite impressive considering the fact that the standard EQE offers roughly 279 miles per charge.

Of course, the Mercedes EQE SUV comes studded with some really great and practical features along with an elegantly designed exterior to accentuate the same. To begin with, the current exterior of the EQE SUV and EQE Sedan are pretty similar in nature, but the current design definitely looks better on the Mercedes EQE SUV. In place of the grille, you get a black panel ornamented with three-pointed stars, this black panel also conceals the driver-assist sensors and cameras. Furthermore, the EQE SUV dawns an aerodynamically styled body, which means, it helps in reducing wind drag while increasing the stability of the car.
